Apart from skiing I did a lot of other sports, such as athletics, gymnastics, handball and football, and still enjoy an active lifestyle. My passion for sports inspired me to reach a deeper understanding of body movements and body functions. So I did a M.A. in Sports & Exercise Science. During my time at university I was working part time as an sports instructor for children and younger adults with disabilities. There I discovered that I enjoy teaching and how important it is to focus also on the emotional, social and cognitive development alongside with the physical.
