A revolutionary motor skills development concept

The concept of The Little Gym® was created by Robin Wes, a physical and psycho-motility professor originally from South Africa. He opened the first The Little Gym® in 1976. His concept was revolutionary and responded to two needs:

To give sport an educative value by creating a non-competitive programme to stimulate the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children.

To offer a motor skills development programme that is also beneficial to children aged less than 3 years.
Today, with more than 300 centres in 19 countries, The Little Gym® is the worldwide leader in the children's motor skills development.

In Europe, the first centre was opened in September 2000 and The Little Gym® now has centres opened, or in the course of being opened, in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Sweden.

Our partner is The Little Gym® International Inc., based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Franchises for Europe are managed by The Little Gym® Europe, a company based to the south of Brussels.

The success of The Little Gym’s concept of motor skills development depends entirely on the success of its franchises. It therefore operates in very close contact with every one of them!
