Following a week-long 'Roll to Raise Money' campaign, youngsters at The Little Gym have completed 2019 forward rolls and successfully raised £1714.60 for Children in Need. During the national fund raising effort, children at all centres forward rolled with Pudsey into their gymnastics classes. For each roll completed, parents made donations with all proceeds going to the charity.
Locations taking part in the national fund-raising event included The Little Gym centres at Wandsworth, Hampton Hill, Kensington, Chiswick, Stoke and Bishop's Stortford.
Kate Butcher at The Little Gym Hampton Hill commented, "We're absolutely delighted to have raised so much money for Children in Need. Last week's "Roll to Raise Money" was a huge amount of fun - and a great opportunity to get the children involved in a cause that they can really relate to."
The Little Gym offers a unique motorskills and curriculum-based gymnastics programme, which is specifically designed to boost self-esteem while building physical, social and intellectual skills. Weekly themed parent and child, pre-school and primary classes are available to children of all abilities, from 4 months to 12 years. The Little Gym also hosts holiday camps and children's parties.
